Promoting the creativity of communities around the world, Urban Bush Women blends many styles to tell the history of global struggles for freedom and justice. Their performance will invite audience engagement throughout and offer students many opportunities to ask and learn. The presentation will include HEP HEP SWEET SWEET which incorporates cabaret and social dance styles from the early to mid-twentieth century while providing a glimpse into personal experiences during the Great Migration.
