Funny and bittersweet, the comedy traces the journey of the “boomer” generation through the character of Heidi, “a brilliant feminist art historian trying to keep her bearings and her sense of humor on the elevator ride from the radical sixties to the heartless eighties.” This 20th century play has surprising resonance at this moment in the 21st century; indeed, it will also be receiving a Broadway revival featuring Elisabeth Moss this spring. The play features an ensemble cast of eight talented performers—five women and three men.
