The theme for TEDxPenn2017 is Rise and Run. Every revolutionary idea was born from a simple thought, and a drive to rise to the challenge. With dedication and time, these ideas have become the forces that drive our economy, power our society and enable progress for all of mankind.
TEDxPenn is a nonprofit student organization dedicated to empowerment through ideas. We hold the only license at the University of Pennsylvania to host TEDx events and conferences. This year, we are bringing together 1,000 people for a full day to engage in deep conversations about innovations and solutions. We aim to foster an environment for spreading ideas through the opportunity to learn about what it takes to rise to the occasion and run with your ideas.
