A 2016 Guggenheim Fellow and alumnus of Rennie Harris Puremovement, Raphael Xavier makes his Annenberg Center debut. Xavier expands the boundaries of hip-hop and breaking, drawing inspiration from his background as a photographer and musician. Crackling with his signature bravado and high-energy physicality, the Philadelphia premiere of full-length work Point of Interest features a multigenerational cast, a soundscape of beats and spoken word and a humorous take on the challenges of the maturing dancer.
