Philadelphia Debut // Philadelphia Premiere // Annenberg Center Debut

"Exquisite," "ravishing" and "bewitching" are just a few superlatives used to describe the groundbreaking music of electro-acoustic composer-pianist Max Richter. With a ubiquitous presence in dance, film and television, Richter’s seductive and achingly beautiful works have made him one of the most influential composers of his generation. Joined by the American Contemporary Music Ensemble, a group of "contemporary music dynamos" (NPR), he will perform selections from his work Infra, inspired by T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land, and from his score for the dystopian HBO drama The Leftovers.
