Nominated for Tony®, Emmy® and Grammy® awards, Lar Lubovitch has been cited by the New York Times as “one of the ten best choreographers in the world.” Winner of the Astaire Award for Broadway’s Red Shoes and the DanceUSA Lifetime Achievement Award, he is known for his lush choreography and musicality. Lubovitch’s tenure at the forefront of contemporary dance has spanned many successful decades. With a “breezy, fluid and engaging” choreographic style (New York Times), his company has charmed audiences in Philadelphia and around the world.
