Called “one of the most thrilling live performers around” by Rolling Stone, prodigious South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela is truly a living legend, known for a unique musical blend of his native South African roots with the pop-jazz of the 60s. With a wildly successful 40-year career under his belt, this “man with the horn” has collaborated with artists including Paul Simon, Miriam Makeba, Dizzy Gillespie, Herb Albert and Alvin Ailey, to name just a few. His Grammy® award-winning hit Grazing in the Grass sold over 4 million copies and made him an international star.
